Department of Atomic Energy offers programmes for July 2006 Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) offers (a) one-year Orientation Course (OCES-2006) starting September 2006 at BARC Training School Mumbai and its affiliates CAT Training School Indore, NFC-HWB Training School Hyderabad and NPCIL Training Centres (Kaiga, Kalpakkam, Kudankulam.Raw-atbhata and Tarapur) and (b) two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS-2006) for M Tech in specific programmes starting July 2006 at Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee). You need: (a) Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates and (b) Engineering graduates and Postgraduates in Physics. Qualifying degrees and disciplines should be BE in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation, Engineering Physics and Food Technology; M Sc Physics, Electronics, Chemistry and Biosciences. GATE 2005 or GATE 2006 is mandatory for Engineering, and optional for Science disciplines.
